Synopsis: Zong, a 16-year-old boy studying in the big city, hears news of his grandfather’s sudden death. He rushes back to his hometown for the funeral, but finds he cannot accept or understand the rural traditions regarding this ceremony. The funeral is rescheduled for the day after he arrives, and he only has a few hours to say his final goodbye to his grandfather before dawn.
