Synopsis: A man holds a woman hostage and subjects her to physical and psychological torment. Beneath the violence lies an allegory about inherited bonds and how deep-rooted ties can become suffocating, restrictive and painful. Even when escape is an option, we often remain, trapped by invisible chains of blood and water.
