Music Program by:

Melina Paschalidou – Soprano
Soprano Melina Paschalidou was born in Stuttgart and studied Solo Singing at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki and later in Berlin. She has performed roles in operas by Mozart, Rossini, Verdi, and Strauss in Greece and Germany. Since 2014, she has been a soloist with the Neue Sinfonieorchester Berlin, and since 2022, she has been teaching vocal performance at the Loutraki Music School.

Konstantinos Boznos – Guitarist
Konstantinos Boznos is a native of Loutraki. He holds a diploma in Harmony and a certificate in electric guitar studies. He teaches electric and acoustic guitar at the Loutraki Music School, actively contributing to the region’s music education in recent years.

The Jury for the NEREUS Film Awards at the 7th BRIDGES Loutraki International Film Festival is composed of prominent figures from the fields of theatre, cinema, education, and media. Each member brings years of experience and a profound understanding of artistic creation and its social impact, ensuring a well-rounded and insightful evaluation of the competing films.

Nereus was a sea God in Greek mythology, protector of the pure sea, wisdom, and kindness. He symbolizes flow, clarity, and depth — just like great cinema!

Mary Vidali – Actress, Artistic Director of Diahrono Theater (Athens)
A prominent actress with a long-standing career in Greek theatre and television. A graduate of the Pelos Katselis Drama School with distinction, she is the founder and artistic director of Diahrono Theater in Athens, contributing significantly to the cultural landscape of the capital and beyond.

Spyros Bibilas – Actor, Former President of the Hellenic Actors’ Union
An award-winning actor with an extensive contribution to theatre, television, and film. As former President of the Hellenic Actors’ Union, he actively supported the rights of artists, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and deep social awareness.

Eleni Petropoulou – Actress, Educator, Global Arts School (Corinth)
A dedicated stage actress and acting teacher, known for her strong presence and commitment to theatrical education. At the Global Arts School in Corinth, she inspires young artists to explore authentic expression and creative discipline through the art of acting.

Konstantinos Bisdas – Director, Actor, Artistic Director of “Arsinoi” Theatre Group
With over 30 years in theatre and training under renowned mentors such as Dimitris Kataleifos, Dimitris Piatas, Takis Vouteris, and Giorgos Biniaris, he has directed and performed in more than 60 plays. He has also contributed to cinema with short films and documentaries.

Anna Nikolaidi – TV Producer, Journalist, Postdoctoral Philosophy Researcher (University of Ioannina)
Creator of the successful TV shows “Anadeixe To” and “Be Well”, both broadcast for over a decade across Greece and abroad. “Anadeixe To” received the 2019 and 2023 Best External Production Awards (Boussias Communications). She is currently conducting postdoctoral research in philosophy.

Alexis Haviaras – Scenographer, Animation Director, Screenwriter
Dr. Alexis Haviaras teaches Art and Design at European universities since 2009. His research includes a DProf in Scenography and an M.A. in Art Direction for Computer-Animated Films from Middlesex University. He directed the award-winning animated short films Agrinoui (2015) and Struthio (2011), and is currently developing the animated children’s series Olympia the Horse.

Avraam Papadopoulos – Actor
An actor with diverse experience in the arts and media. Born in Drama and raised in Athens, he studied acting at the G. Theodosiadis Drama School, while also holding degrees in journalism and business administration. Since 2005, he has worked in numerous theatre productions and appeared in TV series and both short and feature films, demonstrating a wide acting range and versatility.

Dimitris Kannavos – Journalist, Founder of Hellenic Media Group
A cultural journalist with deep insight into Greek and international artistic affairs. Founder of Hellenic Media Group and a cyberjournalist, he also serves as Press & Communications Officer of the Thessaloniki Radio Museum. He is a member of E.DI.P.H.T. (Union of Periodical & Electronic Press Journalists), offering a keen narrative perspective in evaluating artistic works.

 

🎥The evening program of the NEREUS Film Awards will conclude with the screening of the feature film “Reinas” / “Queens”, Switzerland’s official submission for the Oscars, and recipient of Audience Awards in Berlin and Locarno. The screening is presented in collaboration with the FeCHA Festival and with the support of the Embassy of Cuba.

The 7th Loutraki International Film Festival BRIDGES will continue with a three-day tribute on June 23, 24, and 26 at the Electra open-air cinema, featuring screenings of award-winning films from previous editions of the BRIDGES International Film Festival.

The BRIDGES International Film Festival is held annually in three cities—Loutraki (June 13–25, 2025), Corinth (October 20–25, 2025), and Nafplio (December 3–7, 2025)—each with a distinct program and thematic focus. The festival offers a platform to independent filmmakers from around the world, showcasing works with humanitarian and social themes. It is organized on a voluntary basis by the Cultural Organization CINEART, based in Corinthia, and operates under the auspices of the respective municipalities: the Municipality of Loutraki – Perachora – Agioi Theodoroi, the Municipality of Corinth, and the Municipality of Nafplio.
