13 Oct PRESS RELEASE 13/10/2026 – 17th International Festival “BRIDGES” – Corinth, Peloponnese, Greece

17th INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL “BRIDGES” – CORINTH, PELOPONNESE, GREECE
19–25 October 2026 | Municipal Theatre of Corinth
“Cinema, visual arts, theatre, music, education, technology and culture come together in Corinth.”
The 17th International Multidisciplinary Festival of Corinthia – Peloponnese “BRIDGES” takes place from 19 to 25 October 2026, with the Municipal Theatre of Corinth as its main venue. The Festival brings Greek and international creators to the Corinthia region, presenting world cinema, artistic events, educational workshops and cultural activities that connect culture with contemporary creativity.
The Festival is held under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Corinth and is organised by CineArt, a non-profit cultural organisation.
The name “BRIDGES” reflects the dual significance of the event: the power of art, and particularly cinema, to unite people, nations and cultures, as well as the Festival’s longstanding cooperation with international festivals and cultural organisations.
The Festival has been awarded the EFFE Label, the European quality label recognising festivals that make a significant contribution to the arts, local communities and international cultural outreach.
This year’s edition makes use of the Municipal Theatre of Corinth, located in the heart of the city, facilitating public access and strengthening the Festival’s connection with the local community. Its aim is to establish Corinth and the Peloponnese as a meeting point for contemporary international creativity, while contributing to the region’s cultural, tourism and economic development and international outreach.
