Synopsis: A group of children embarks on a journey through time, transforming their village into a place of memory, knowledge, and play. The documentary “Little Time Travelers” was created by the students of Skoutaros Primary School in Lesvos, under the guidance of teacher and project coordinator Elpida Kokkinogeni, as well as teacher Georgios Papadopoulos. Emphasizing the Freinet method, the project embraces experiential learning and active participation, giving the children the opportunity to become young researchers and authors of their own narrative. The “Little Time Travelers” bring the village of Skoutaros to life, working closely with the local community and connecting generations through interviews, traditions, and playful exploration.
