During the week that went on at the BRIDGES Festival in Nafplio, we experienced the magic of cinema through the creations of their contributors, whom we congratulate on the quality, sensitivity of the subjects and the aesthetic inspiration offered by their films. The selection was difficult and we wish all the movies a good follow-up and more success to their cast. The participants enjoyed a touring on the beautiful Nafplio and got to know great Greek artists, such as the actors Nikitas Tsakiroglou, Chrysoula Diavati, and the filmmakers Yiannis Smaragdis – who announced the preparation for his upcoming film on Ioannis Kapodistrias – and Thodoros Maragkos.
The 10th International Film Festival Bridges of Peloponnese is certified by the Association of European Festivals EFFE Label Europe for Festivals – Festivals for Europe. The Festival began with screenings in Corinth on 28-29 December 2019 and the Golden Pegasus Awards Ceremony was held for the fifth year in Nafplio. The beautiful celebration took place at the Parliament House, and in the entrance was the exhibition featured the works of children of Nafplio elementary schools who painted after the screening of the animated «Aesop’s Fables», by the awarded by the Athens Academy 3D Animator Dinos Theodosiou . We are very grateful for his participation in the awards, the Vice-Mayor of Transparency and Digital Management Mr. Konstantinos Routoulas, as well as the Mayor of Nafplio, Mr. Dimitrios Kostouros, and the President of DOPPAT, Mrs. Maria Ralli for her great support. We thank the communication sponsor the TV channel Body in Balance Greece, which was represented at Nafplio by Ifigenia Tsantili, project manager and editor of the channel. The Greek Radio Television and eidisoules.gr were the sponsors of communication at the festival.

- The University of Peloponnese and the Department of Theatrical Studies third Semester (teaching by Ioanna Papadopoulou) who participated in a lecture with Mr. Nikitas Tsakiroglou.

at the INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL BRIDGES in Nafplio
Yesterday was a day dedicated to Greek filmmakers. The BRIDGES International Film Festival of Peloponnese, in Nafplio started with the screening of three Aesop parables by Athens Academy Award-winning 3D animator Dinos Theodosiou and painting by 100 children from the Nafplio Elementary School and continued with the screening of Greek short movies with the presence of the directors. A crowd of people flooded the Trianon’s hall in Nafplio so to attend a tribute to director Thodoros Maragos and the screening of his latest film, «Costas Tsakonas: He was always laughing.” The day ended with the screening of the film “Nia on vacation” by the homogeneous director Kat Papademetriou and a party at 3sixty.

A crowd of people flooded the Trianon’s hall in Nafplio so to attend a tribute to director Yannis Smaragdis from the Mayor of Nafplio Dimitris Kostouros, and the screening of his film “Kazantzakis” on the fourth day of screenings in the International Film Festival of Peloponnese BRIDGES in Nafplio.
100 children from the Nafplio Elementary School will be at the Vouleftiko today so to watch the Aesop’s parables by Athens Academy Award-wiining 3D animator Dinos Theodosiou – “Cicada and Ant”, A puppy and the frogs”, “The City mouse and the Village mouse”.

Yesterday was held the workshop: The Science of Aesthetics in Cinema – Restoring surgery and the cosmetic as a tool for regenerating the female psyche. Guests: Dr Marios Christofinis, dermatologist, Dr Anna Christofini, Medical doctor Phd in Microbiology and Immunology, Dr Vassilios Karountzos, obstetrician –gynaecologist. Before that was a brief presentation about the preparation of the short film «Later Aphrodites» by Demeter Stavropoulos which will be screened tomorrow Friday 24/1 during the screen programme for Greek films of the Bridges Festival.
Today at 7a.m. in Trianon Theater the most important Greek biographer and director Yannis Smaragdis, wili be presented at a tribute ceremony of the International Film Festival BRIDGES and he will talk for his new film about the story of Ioannis Kapodistrias

But then one day his father appears before him and his psychological state is thrown into turmoil. Eventually, at his father’s urging, he decides to confront his father’s brother at the engagement party thrown for his mother, setting off a chain of events that ultimately forces him to embrace the true nature of love, honor and duty.

The international film festival Bridges will open the stage for the 9th consecutive year on October 4th -13th. It will take place in Corinth (Cineplex Floisvos: 4-10 of October), in Athens (Greek Film Archives – Teniothiki Greece: 8-10 of October) and Nafplion (Theater Trianon: 11-13 of October). The film festival will give a chance to filmmakers from all over the globe to present their work to the Greek audience.
The film festival began in 2008 in Corinth. In a short period of time, Bridges has become known for being the starting point for the careers of many young people with regional screenings and successful celebrations in all of Greece. The first goal of the festival is to promote the region where it takes place. The second goal is to promote relationships with local communities and cultural institutions. During the festival we will screen feature films from all over the world in the category: Bridges—International Cinema. At the end in Nafplion on the 13th of October, we award the Golden Pegasos award in directing, screenwriting, music, set design and costumes, first and second male and female roles and many more. We honor films about refuges in the thematic category: The Other. The Bridges Film Festival will continue to present films from directors in the Diaspora under the category: Nostimon Imar. The Festival will present films with a woman director or producer. The Festival lunches a new category of films: 50/50 with factors 50% men and 50% women so that we can have equal amounts of films produced and directed by men and women. This idea reflects harmony and balance in the participants and the ideas that are presented. We add to the cineplexes the welcoming and atmospheric film room B at Teniothiki in Athens for the days 11-13 of October.
The VIP Jury Committee for the Golden Pegasos feature film prize in the category Bridges-World Cinema consists of Cinema and art experts from Greece and all over the globe. This year we have Hollywood Director of Photography Bill Butler (whose projects include Jaws by Steven Spielberg, 1975; Grease, 1978; Rocky II, 1979; Rocky III, 1983, Rocky, 1985; and many more); James DeMetro – Director of the Hellenic Film Society USA; the Indian Producer Vivek Singhania; the American Producer George F Roberson (Jose—Queer Lion Award, 2018), Kiki Pericleous—Journalist at the Cyprian News Channel and the founding member of the section Women in Cinema and TV Cyprus; finally, Elizabeth Chronopoulou director, writer, producer and film editor.
The program consists of film screenings, a seminar masterclass with the theme: The art of acting from production to editing with E. Chronopoulou, and concerts with Christina Golia joined by local bands.

Η ιστορία επικεντρώνεται στις ζωές των αρχετυπικών χαρακτήρων και μεταφορικά αντιπροσωπεύει το αδυσώπητο ξερίζωμα μιας οικογένειας στη Σερβία κατά τη διάρκεια της δεκαετίας του 1970, τη διάλυση και την εξαφάνιση των οικισμών και των χωριών στο μαγευτικό Šumadija, την πιο όμορφη περιοχή της κεντρικής Σερβίας. Μέσα στο χωριό Radomilje στη Šumadija κατά την περίοδο της ψευδούς ευδαιμονίας στη Γιουγκοσλαβία κατά την τελευταία δεκαετία της ζωής του Τίτο – το 1976, η δραματική πλοκή επικεντρώνεται γύρω από τους νέους, τον 20χρονο, χωρικό Milivoje, ο οποίος ζει με τη μητέρα του Stana, τον παππού του Životije και τη γιαγιά του Saveta. Shortly after 8:00 p.m., in the crowded Cineplex Lais of Corinth the awards ceremony began hosted by the Corinthian actress Helen Petropoulou along with festival director Petra Terzi. Preceded screenings of educational film by Thanos Kermitsis about the history of the canal of the Isthmus of Corinth , the film » The Tower of storms » of the CAMERA ZIZANIO from Olympia Festival and the Stop Motion Video, created by Global Art Studios for the promotion of the Public Library of Corinth , during the Marathon Creativity for the Future Library Foundation of Stavros Niarchos. The audiovisual presentation ceremony was prepared by Socrates Lambropoulos. The choreographer of the closing ceremony is Sophia Glykofrydi and the dancers are Aggistrioti Maria, Andrea Kapasakalidi and Helen Stamatopoulou.The members of the jury for feature films are the actor and director George Pirpasopoulos , the director of the Corinthian theater George Tzavaras, the German director Oliver Kyr, the Director of Photography Olympia Mytilineou and the Indian producer Vivek Singkania. Pegasus, in the ancient Greek mythology was considered as the horse of the Muses, who the poets rode and flew to stardom. « 4ο Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Κορινθίας Πελοποννήσου »

Το 4ο Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Κορινθίας–Πελοποννήσου, μετά την επιτυχία που γνώρισε τα προηγούμενα χρόνια, θα πραγματοποιηθεί τον προσεχή Δεκέμβριο (7-15/12) με τη στήριξη του Δήμου Κορίνθου και Υπό την Αιγίδα της Περιφέρειας Πελοποννήσου. Η διεξαγωγή του καθώς επίσης και η παρουσία ανθρώπων της 7ης Τέχνης στη Κόρινθο, αποτελούν πόλο έλξης και σημαντικό σημείο αναφοράς στα πολιτιστικά δρώμενα της περιοχής μας.
To Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Κορινθίας Πελοποννήσου – CINE@ART είναι οργανισμός μη κερδοσκοπικός, έχει διαγωνιστικό χαρακτήρα και πρωτοτυπεί από την ίδρυσή του με τη δημιουργία θεματικής κατηγορίας ταινιών με θέμα τις «ΓΕΦΥΡΕΣ», προβάλλοντας τη γεωγραφική θέση ορόσημο της Πελοποννήσου και τον Ισθμό που την ενώνει με την Στερεά Ελλάδα και δημιουργεί διαπολιτιστική γέφυρα μέσω της Έβδομης Τέχνης με την Ελλάδα και τον υπόλοιπο κόσμο. Οι θεατές έχουν τη μοναδική ευκαιρία να παρακολουθήσουν δημιουργίες νέων ανερχόμενων σκηνοθετών από όλο τον κόσμο, που θα προβληθούν για πρώτη φορά παγκοσμίως στην Πελοπόνησσο. Φυσικά, αποκορύφωμα του φεστιβάλ είναι το διεθνές διαγωνιστικό τμήμα του, στην κριτική επιτροπή του οποίου συμμετέχουν διακεκριμένοι άνθρωποι του χώρου από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.
Πρόγραμμα
Με πολύ μεράκι και όρεξη η δημιουργική ομάδα του φεστιβάλ προσφέρει για άλλη μία φορά με αλληλεγγύη και ομαδικό πνεύμα και υπόσχεται να ικανοποιήσει και τον πιο απαιτητικό θεατή. Το κυρίως πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει 70 ταινίες πρώτης προβολής, μεγάλου και μικρού μήκους, τεκμηρίωσης και κινουμένων σχεδίων, προέλευσης από 20 χώρες που θα προβληθούν την περίοδο 7-15 Δεκεμβρίου στο Κινηματογράφο ΛΑ`Ι`Σ στη Κόρινθο. Οι ελληνικές ταινίες κυριαρχούν σε αριθμό στην τελική επιλογή και καταλαμβάνουν το ήμισυ περίπου του προγράμματος. Οι ξενόγλωσσες ταινίες έχουν ελληνικούς υπότιτλους. Στο διαγωνιστικό τμήμα για το “Χρυσό Πήγασο” συμμετέχουν 13 ταινίες μεγάλου μήκους από Ελλάδα, Υεμένη, Κύπρο, Καναδά, Αμερική, Τουρκία, Σερβία, Ρουμανία, Γερμανία, Γαλλία κι Ινδία. Καινοτομία του φετινού φεστιβάλ είναι η κατηγορία “Παγκόσμιος Κινηματογράφος – Γέφυρες”. Μετά την τελετή βραβείων θα προβληθεί για πρώτη φορά η εκπαιδευτική ταινία μικρού μήκους τεκμηρίωσης του Θάνου Κερμίτση για τον Ισθμό και τη διώρυγα της Κορίνθου. Οι ταινίες που θα προβληθούν θα ταξιδέψουν το κοινό σε άλλες κουλτούρες και πολιτισμούς, θα προκαλέσουν συναισθήματα, συγκινήσεις μα και χαρά, θα προβληματίσουν και συνάμα θα ψυχαγωγήσουν, όπως οι, επίκαιρες όσο ποτέ άλλοτε, κωμωδίες “Ισοβίτες” και “Τι έχουν να δουν τα μάτια μου”, στο τιμητικό αφιέρωμα του φεστιβάλ για τον σκηνοθέτη Θόδωρο Μαραγκό. Το πιο σημαντικό χαρακτηριστικό της διοργάνωσης είναι οι δημιουργοί που θα έρθουν από τα πέρατα της γης, και θα συνοδεύσουν με συζήτηση τις προβολές με το σινεφίλ κοινό της Κορινθίας. Σηματοδοτούν τον φεστιβαλικό χαρακτήρα η ταινία έναρξης “Ολα χάθηκαν /All is Lost” (2013) του J.C. Chandor, με πρωταγωνιστή τον διάσημο ηθοποιό Ρόμπερτ Ρέντφονρτ, ιδρυτή του Σαντάνς, το πιο σημαντικό φεστιβάλ ανεξάρτητου κινηματογράφου, και η ταινία λήξης “Μια στάση πριν το τέλος / Fruitvale station” (2013) του πρωτοεμφανιζόμενου Ράιαν Κούγκλερ που απέσπασε το Μεγάλο Βραβείο της Επιτροπής στο Sundance, και τη διάκριση «Ένα κάποιο Βλέμμα» στο Φεστιβάλ Καννών.
Κριτική Επιτροπή
Το διαγωνιστικό πρόγραμμα αφορά την απονομή συμβολικών επαίνων στην καλύτερη ταινία μεγάλου και μικρού μήκους και σε διάφορες άλλες κατηγορίες ταινιών. Η σύσταση της φετινής VIP κριτικής επιτροπής είναι από προσωπικότητες από τον χώρο του κινηματογράφου και των τεχνών, όπως ο ηθοποιός και σκηνοθέτης Γιώργος Πυρπασόπουλος, ο Γιώργος Τζαβάρας σκηνοθέτης του “Θεατρικού Εργαστηρίου του Δήμου Κορινθίων”, ο βραβευμένος Ινδός παραγωγός Vivek Singhania, η διακεκριμένη Διευθύντρια Φωτογραφίας Ολυμπία Μυτιληναίου και ο βραβευμένος Γερμανός σκηνοθέτης Oliver Kyr. Την επιτροπή για τις ταινίες μικρού μήκους κι άλλων κατηγοριών ταινιών αποτελούν μέλη του κινηματογραφικού εργαστηρίου “Θόδωρος Μαραγκός”, ο καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής της “Global Arts” Σωκράτης Λαμπρόπουλος και η ηθοποιός Ελένη Πετροπούλου.
Bραβείο
To μοντέρνο γλυπτό έπάθλο που καθιστά μοναδική την αναγνώριση αυτή από την κριτική επιτροπή, είναι ο Χρυσός Πήγασος και έχει φιλοτεχνήσει ο εικαστικός καλλιτέχνης Σωκράτης Λαμπρόπουλος. Ο Πήγασος, θεωρήθηκε το άλογο των Μουσών που ιππεύουν οι ποιητές και πετάνε ψηλά στο καλλιτεχνικό στερέωμα γι`αυτό το λόγο το βραβείο «ΧΡΥΣΟΣ ΠΗΓΑΣΟΣ» απονέμεται σε ταινία που διακρίνεται από τη VIP διεθνή κριτική επιτροπή μέσα από επίσημη επιλογή ταινιών μεγάλου μήκους, υψηλού καλλιτεχνικού επιπέδου, που θα «ταξιδέψουν» και θα προβληθούν σε άλλα φεστιβάλ, προβάλλοντας την Κόρινθο και την Πελοπόννησο και μετά το πέρας του Φεστιβάλ Κορινθίας-Πελοποννήσου CINE@ART.
Παράλληλες εκδηλώσεις
α) ένα σεμινάριο (master class) σχετικό με την φωτογραφία στο κινηματογράφο από την Διευθύντρια Φωτογραφίας Ολυμπία Μυτιληναίου (Στρέλλα, Miss Violence κ.ά.),
β) τιμητικό αφιέρωμα στον σκηνοθέτη κ. Θόδωρο Μαραγκό, με προβολές ταινιών του,
γ) το καθιερωμένο πάνελ με μέλη της κριτικής επιτροπής, τους συμμετέχοντες σκηνοθέτες και το κοινό, με θέμα “Μεταμόρφωσις μέσω του βιωματικού διαδραστικού θεάτρου και του κινηματογράφου”,
δ) καλλιτεχνικό πρόγραμμα στην τελετή απονομής βραβείων στις 15 Δεκεμβρίου και αρκετά πάρτυ στη Κόρινθο και στο Λουτράκι καθώς κι ένα σεμινάριο κατασκευής των πιο γνωστών 10 κοκτέιλ από ταινίες του Χόλλυγουντ!
ε) προβολή των βραβευμένων ταινιών στο Αλεξάνδρειο Συνεδριακό Κέντρο στις 28 Δεκεμβρίου.
Στόχοι
Το Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Κορινθίας Πελοποννήσου -CINE@ART στοχεύει με την πάροδο των χρόνων:
α) στην προώθηση και στήριξη Ελλήνων νέων σκηνοθετών,
β) στη δημιουργία ενός σημαντικού ετήσιου ραντεβού συνάντησης στην Πελοπόννησο, Ελλήνων και διεθνών κινηματογραφιστών, σινεφίλ, της τοπικής κοινωνίας και άλλων πολιτιστικών φορέων, όπου θα συνάπτονται εμπορικές συμφωνίες,
γ) στην ανάδειξη του Ισθμού και της ευρύτερης περιοχής της Πελοποννήσου ως ένα νέο κινηματογραφικό ταξιδιωτικό προορισμό,
δ) στη μετατροπή της περιοχής της Κορινθίας σε περιφερειακό πολιτιστικό κέντρο κι ένα σημαντικό χώρο τουριστικής προβολής της Νοτίου Ελλάδος, και
ε) στη δημιουργία CITY BRAND για την πόλη που κατά επανάληψη θα φιλοξενήσει το φεστιβάλ, με απώτερο στόχο την καλύτερη δυνατή προβολή της στο εξωτερικό.

ΕΠΙΣΗΜΗ ΣΥΝΕΝΤΕΥΞΗ
Πραγματοποιήθηκε το μεσημέρι της Παρασκευής στις 12.00 μ.μ., στο θέατρο του Δημαρχείου Κορίνθου (Κολιάτσου 22), η επίσημη συνέντευξη Τύπου των διοργανωτών του 4ου Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Κορινθίας-Πελοποννήσου, το οποίο θα λάβει χώρα από τις 7 έως τις 15 Δεκεμβρίου του τρέχοντος έτους στη πόλη μας.
Στην συνέντευξη παρευρέθηκαν και μίλησαν, εκ μέρους της Δημοτικής Αρχής ο αντιδήμαρχος Χαράλαμπος Καμπούρης, ο Πρόεδρος του ΚΕΠΑΠ Παναγιώτης Λαμπρινός, ο Καλλιτεχνικός Διευθυντής της «Global Arts» Σωκράτης Λαμπρόπουλος, ο Θάνος Κερμίτσης σκηνοθέτης της πρώτης Ελληνικής ταινίας μεγάλου μήκους επικής φαντασίας «Τα Χρονικά του Δρακοφοίνικα : Αδάμαστος», ο ηθοποιός Γκρέγκ Τερζάκης πρωταγωνιστής της Ελληνικής ταινίας μεγάλου μήκους «Τελική Αποπληρωμή», ο Γιώργος Τζαβάρας σκηνοθέτης του «Θεατρικού Εργαστηρίου» του Δήμου Κορινθίων και μέλος της Κριτικής Επιτροπής ταινιών μεγάλου μήκους για την κατηγορία «Χρυσός Πήγασος», η ηθοποιός Ελένη Πετροπούλου, παρουσιάστρια των τελετών έναρξης και λήξης του Φεστιβάλ και η διευθύντρια του Φεστιβάλ Πέτρα Τερζή.
Οι παρευρισκόμενοι τόνισαν τη σημασία της διοργάνωσης, αφού πρόκειται για μια καλλιτεχνική συνάντηση του Ανεξάρτητου Κινηματογράφου. Στο πολιτιστικό αυτό δρώμενο, συμμετέχουν άνθρωποι με διαφορετικές κουλτούρες και παραστάσεις, που συνδυάζουν την ευσυνείδητη διάθεση του ερασιτέχνη και την επαγγελματική νοοτροπία του ποιοτικού αποτελέσματος. Όπως υπογράμμισαν, πάντα οι μικρές καλλιτεχνικές παρέες δημιουργούν εξαιρετικές ταινίες, αφού οι προσπάθειές τους εκπορεύονται από τα βάθη της καρδιάς τους.
Το 4ο Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου θα φιλοξενηθεί στο Cineplex-Lais , του οποίου ο συγκεκριμένος χώρος αποτέλεσε πριν τέσσερα χρόνια, την αφετηρία της καλλιτεχνικής αυτής προσπάθειας με την ονομασία «Γέφυρες».

4th PELOPONNESIAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL «BRIDGES» 7-15 December 2013
The independent Greek and World cinema is starring in 4th International Film Festival of Corinthia Peloponnese. Some of the most talented and the most «special» representatives of independent cinema will be honored by the screening of their latest movie but also with their presence at this year`s Festival which will be held from 7 to 15 December in Cineplex LAIS in Corinth.Pegasus, in ancient Greek mythology was thought to be the horse of Muses, which the poets rid and flew to stardom. This is the reason why «Golden Pegasus» Award is given to a feature length film, distinguished for its artistic value and its ability to «travel» and succeed in other film festivals. The Jury which will unveil the best film in the category «Golden Pegasus», is consisted by the internationally renowned Vivek Singkania – Indian producer, Oliver Kyr – German director, Olympia Mytilineou – Director of Photography (Strella, Miss Violence etc) and George Pyrpasopoulos – actor and director (4ever) and George Tzavaras, director. The parallel program includes a master class from Olympia Mytilineou, screening of features, shorts, documentary and animation and an artistic live program at the awards ceremony. An open discussion panel and a tribute to the director Theodoros Marangos (Learn my child letters, Lifers etc.) with projection of his films, short, feature-length and documentaries will take place.The screening program of the festival will be announced on December 1st.
