The film “IMAN,” directed by Kyriakos Tofaridis and Corinna Abrahamidou, premiered last November at the 63rd Thessaloniki International Film Festival and has since embarked on a successful journey across international festivals, garnering 13 awards to date.
Synopsis: Abdalla, an Arab Muslim civil engineer married to the Cypriot Irene, must take responsibility for the collapse of a building that resulted in the death of 7 people. Iman and Leila radicalize and are sent to Cyprus on a secret mission. Misiel, a lonely 17-year-old, falls in love with Angelo, a handsome but racist young man. Three stories with characters navigating between life and death in an effort to redeem themselves from the past, loneliness, and their guilt.
