“Unchildishness” – Andy Papadimitriou, Greece, 2016, 5′

Unchildishness is a story of a child experiencing the cruelty of war, in a surrealistic approach of events happening in his home. Inspired by the recent events of Syrian refugees crisis, the film reflects on the consequences that will echo on the future generations. The eight year old child is drawing when his tranquility is violently interrupted by the ravaging of his family. The drama unfolds in the simple yet complex way a child can perceive the world. A contemporary odyssey, underlined by the perpetual conflict between East and West.
